New appointment in Peterborough
We have recently been appointed to obtain planning permission for an extention to a three bedroomed link detached house in Peterborough, to provide an extra bedroom at first floor level over a previously converted garage. Careful internal alterations are required to the existing first floor to maximise room sizes.

Planning Permission granted for extension within Conservation Area
Planning consent has been given for a two storey rear extension to a terraced house withing the conservation area of Brafferton and Helperby. The application was determined well within the eight week period given by the Local Authority, and without any local objections.
JB : Architectural are now awaiting permissions for a further two applications in this area.

The Royal Institute of British Architects have launched an updated version of the Plan of Work for 2013.
JB : Architectural will now be using the 2013 version as a basis for the service offered to our clients.

We are very happy and proud to announce that we have received fantastic reviews from past clients, which has resulted in two new appointments within the beautiful Hambleton village of Brafferton-cum-Helperby.
Both schemes fall within the Helperby conservation area and will require careful design consideration to achieve the clients requirements and please the local authority planning department.
The Old School.....next steps
Our client has been very impressed with the service we have provided during the Planning process, and now the 'Friends of the Old School' have appointed JB : Architectural to oversee the next stage of their plans to convert outbuildings into a useable space the whole community of Oakley can use.

Tadcaster house extension design is granted planning permission
JB : Architectural have achieved another planning approval for a house extension in Tadcaster within six weeks from the date of submission!
We are delighted with the quick decision made by Selby District Council's planning department, and look forward to seeing the project move forward and onto site.
Growing family means more room needed in York house...
We have been appointed to design a ground floor rear extension to a semi detached house in York to provide further living accommodation for a growing family.
A full measured survey has been carried out and the design is now under way.....
Planning approval for Old School
JB : Architectural are proud to announce that Listed Building Consent has recently been granted by Bedford Borough Council for the conversion of outbuildings at the Old School in the beautiful village of Oakley in Bedfordshire.
The approval was granted under delegated powers by the planning officer with no objections to the scheme and therefore no need to be considered by a planning committee, thus strengthening JB : Architectural's reputation and expertise in delivering conversion schemes for listed buildings.
Our client is eager to progress with the works, and further photographs will follow on our 'Projects' page.
Extension for Tadcaster home
JB : Architectural have been commissioned to prepare drawings and submit a planning application for a large two storey side extension and single storey extension to the rear of an existing property in Tadcaster.
The increased floor area will give the property owners some much needed extra living accommodation for a growing family.
The application was made via the planning portal to Selby District Council just a week after the initial consultation with the client.
A fast service was of particular importance to our client, and JB : Architectural delivered!
